And the Cheese Stands Alone
Poor Jaxon has had a tough day! Last night he was having one of his 2-year-old doxie snit fits. I tried to bribe him into a better mood by offering Jaxon and his brudder Scamper a small piece of cheese. I gave it to them in the big bed just before turning in - a huge treat since they normally don’t get to eat in bed. Jaxon took his piece and burrowed under the covers to his secret hiding spot. Unfortunately, he must have fallen asleep before eating his cheese. Instead, he rolled around on it all night like a doxie rolling pin. This morning, his left side had dried cheese smeared all over his fur!!! His crabby mood didn’t improve when Scamper kept coming up to him and licking his cheesy fur! I was a mean mama and kept laughing at the sight - my poor baby!!! Now I’ll have to pay for expensive therapy bills!!! (Oh well, the laugh was worth it!)

LOL! How could he fall asleep before eating his cheese?! My doxies won’t even chew the cheese, they just swallow it whole as quickly as possible. Poor Jaxon… heeheehee.

Wow…. cheese never lasts longer than a millisecond in this house. Are you sure that Jaxon was feeling all right?

Awww poor baby - he WAS having a bad day! It’s bad enough to be SOOOO tired you don’t eat your cheese like lightening but then to have it encrusted in your fur? Ohhh the indignity of it all!
Give Jaxson some extra cheese but make SURE he eats it before retiring for the night.
