A day at the park

Today I took Boogey, Kizzie, Brutus, and 3 kids to the park today. It is so pretty today here in Alabama. The temp is about 75. But let me tell you guys, I was so overwhelmed. Boogey kept wiggling out of his collar, Kizzie won’t walk on a leash, and Brutus is so ball crazy till he was acting totally crazy (which he is normally a calm dog). My daughter’s pants kept falling down (she is 4) and as I was catching some sun she spilled her drink all over me. Brutus peed in the water. Boogey went for a swim and made me laugh because I picked him up out of the water and he was still doing the motion as if he were swimming, his legs and arms were moving back and fourth. We have this park called Oak Mountain State Park, there is a little beach and trails, dogs are allowed so I thought this would be fun, not fun!!!! We went last week and had a great time, but my husband was with us, he had to work today. Now we are back home and everyone is tired and napping. That’s my story for today!!!!…….Kim

LOL Oh Kim! That should be on film!!! Sounds like a fun time even with the mishaps! We took baby possums to the Oak Mountain rescue center years ago…now there’s a story! LOL
Glad you had a nice (but tiring) time. We need photos of that adventure. hehe

Kim, cool, I am from Alabama also. You, Darlene and me should meet sometimes and introduce our babies.

Of course Duchess still doesn’t know she is a d-o-g, and is afraid of other dogs.

Sounds like you had a Doxie kinda day…lol
