You can get great biodegradable poop bags from a company called Dunwoody Booth. I ordered them online and they are thick and nice sized so my hands NEVER get poopy. Also, I am redecorating and have decided to do it as "green" as possible by finding gently used furniture on Craig's List. You can also find great stuff on Freecycle as well. You wouldn't BELIEVE the great stuff that people are ready to sell or even GIVE away at great prices. Laura All are good hints!
