help for a new downed doxie

NO, not one of mine. Little Nina belongs to a good friend and godmother of Smokey and Anna. She came home from a business trip to find Nina had ruptured a disc. She is frantic, and asked me to ask my doxie pals for help, advice and prayers. If you want to contact Sue, please PM me and I will pass her email along. She is getting vet care as her hubby took Nina right away.

Talk to her Vet and get a referral for opinion to a Neurologist and Neurosurgeon.
There is a lot of info of course on the Web but it is hard to take in when you are upset.
I hope she can keep us posted. I pray it turns out well. They have made so many advances. Crate rest is not fun but sometimes the way to go.

Please tell your friend that Nina, the woman(me), would love to help Nina, the dog, in any way I can. Tell her I have Daisy who was downed in January, 2005, and is living a great life here with us. I remember too well what that time was like.
