A breeder/show kennel recommended this on her web site, I decided to give it a go, it is more natural than the chemicals you can use Our vet told us that the fleas are becoming immune to the usual flea treatments and recommends changing the brand frequently to keep fleas away. They can live everywhere! The carpet, blankets, couch, you name it...Bombing the house will give you a clean start. I like it, and my vet recommends it because it also works for mosquitoes, and Frontline does not. Baxter has never had any reaction to it either. If your flea situation is that bad where they are losing fur because of scratching, etc., I would definitely have your vet get you some Advantix. I would apply it at least three days before they have to be boarded as there are apt to be flea ridden dogs they are going to be exposed to at the boarders. I use Advantix for Baxter and it works great.
