We’re moving!

So we have decided that we’re moving! It’s going to be a few weeks though! It’s a cute little older model house, with 4 bedrooms and natural hardwood floors and about 15 acres of land! And the best thing is,there’s a decent sized yard that is all fenced in!! The dogs can finally go off leash!! YAY!! We are super excited, the only thing is we’ve noticed (the past few times we’ve been over there) is there are alot of ticks!!!
Is there anything we can put down in the yard to get rid of the ticks, but that will be safe for the dogs to be around?!
We’ve had alot of people tell us to buy some Guniea Hens,as they eat ticks, but we just aren’t really sure how the dogs will act around them.I guess it could be a possibility though,as I’ve always wanted farm animals,LOL!
Anyway, just thought I’d share the news!!

7 powder is made for the garden but you can put it in the yard or house. It gets rid of fleas and ticks. I know someone that put it in there house for fleas, left it on carpet for 2 days then vacumed and no more fleas. She runs a pet store, not for dogs and cats. just rats fish birds and supplies. She also does grooming there for pups and she said it is safe for the animals. She never had anything get sick after she done it so I would say check it out.

What is 7 powder? Is that the name of a product, or ? Where would you find it at, what kind of store (grocery, pet, farm)?

We are also looking for something to treat our yard with this year. With all the rain and flooding in the midwest I think bugs in general are going to be bad.

    Thanks

Wow KK! That sounds wonderful! We use the Seven Dust also and never have a problem with fleas.
    Good luck on the move!

It is actually spelled Sevin. It works great too. Just ask for it at any home improvement store.
