This is my first blog here but I’ve been a member for a while, I just couldn’t remember my old password or e-mail lol. Anyway, my second girl, Kohana, a beautiful and vibrant, red, short haired, mini, gave birth to seven beautiful puppies yesterday. I was so surprised because this would be my very first time breeding her we thought she would only give us 3 or 4 max because she was so tiny and dainty. We originally got her for a companion for my first puppy, Akira and well, you know what they say, whatever happens during spring break, stays in spring break haha! We have two tiny ones that came out super smaller than the rest and one with a broken tail? I’m not sure if its broken but it was born with the tip bent. Poor thing, I tried to look for solutions or explanations on how and why and I read online that it happens in some dapple cases, and he is a dapple… I don’t know if its true, but I’m hoping that’s all it is. I’ll post up pics shortly!

Congratulations Kohana! I can’t wait to see puppy pics!

    Congratulations on the puppies!
Our Izzy was born with a kink in her tail. It doesn’t bother her at all. She’s a solid red shorthair. You may be able to see it in some of her photos here if you look hard enough.

  3. Comment by Clan Haggart:

Kinks in tails can be hereditary or due to over crowding in utero.

    Congrats on your new arrivals
