Maddie, Chester & Mommy’s Big Adventure!
Hey everybody, it’s me Chester! I don’t know what got into Mommy today, but she decided to take Maddie & I out for a car ride all by herself! She put Maddie’s carseat in the back and my carseat in the front. Then, she put our harnesses on and took and put us in the car. Well, we were pretty good in the car. I think we barked at a few random people. Then all of a sudden the car pulls into a place Maddie & I know pretty well. Uh oh, Mommy took us to the GROOMERS!!! Well, it’s not so bad we do get kissed on and snuggled. She clipped our nails and we were back in the car before we knew it to come home. Unfortunately, Maddie was not very happy sitting in the backseat, so she wiggled her way up on top of the carseat and landed behind it. Thankfully, we weren’t too far from home. So, at the stop light Mommy reached back, unbuckled her, and put her on her lap for the rest of the trip. She is such a little baby! I was a big boy and just sat in my seat and watched everybody. Anyways, I am attaching a picture of poor Mommy’s arm. This is all thanks to my baby sister! I was such a good boy! And, then there’s a pic of Maddie & I relaxing when we got home. We are exhausted! OH NO !! Poor Mommy, her arm looks pretty scratched up !! You be nice to Mommy Maddie… she was just getting you all beautiful, very important for girls… and Chester too !!
PS. Maddie do you feel like you have been tattled on ?? LOL !! Big brothers to like to do that !!

Now that is self-sacrifice for the sake of the dogs! Maddie you make sure you get “shotgun” next time Mommy takes you and Chester out for a drive!

We took the trio for a little ride and two of them threw up twice and the other one threw up three times…riding is such fun!!! No scratches, they were too sick to jump around.
I was told however, to feed them old fashion ginger snap cookies before we go riding next time! anyone heard of that???

A car ride is always good fun, even if it is to the Vet. Mommy used to take us even around the block when she put the car away for the night. We are good car riders and never jump around.
