Pie Playdate in The Bronx!
Well the big day dawned not rainy and yucky but nice and sunny! The grass was a touch wet but nothing we couldn’t deal with.
Annabel and Brownie kept watch for Dylan and his hoomans. Not knowing which direction they were coming from, Annabel looked to the east and Brownie the west. Freddie was too busy looking for worm jerkey!
And then he was HERE!!! The handsome Mr. Dylan Pie!
Introductions were made and butts were sniffed and EVERYONE got along beautifully! (well I guess you could say that Brownie’s wanting to hump Dylan was a form of affection?)
Dylan really enjoyed the fact that he could run and run and run and run so he RAN like the wind!
Then Dylan’s mommy broke out the snausages and cookies and we all had a snack. We LOVE Miss Jenn - she’s so pretty and nice and sweet. (do you suppose she’ll bring us MORE treats next time?)
We all agreed that we would like to do it again and have more doxies join us. Herman, you’ll have to make sure Mommy and Daddy KNOW that your social calendar is as important as theirs!
Now we’re sleeping off all the excitement!

Wow how fun!!!! I just found out that several of my co-workers are doxie lovers. I need to suggest that we get together and have a play date. You all look like you had a great time!

Oh I love Annabel´s frog dog pose! She´s so cute! And the pic where they´re getting treats is just fantastic! I would love to hop on a plane and fly to NY with my babies just so they can meet The Doxhoonts and some PIE platime. Which hotel receives dogs in NY? I´m booking a flight for the next playdate!!

Oh, I’ve made my social calendar clear to my parents…. instead of boarding me, they take me to my club. Just one more step in doxies’ move toward total world domination. I even demand I play with the larger dogs, because while I may be short of stature I am no SMALL DOG. Sorry to miss the fun, but I must say I am glad that Brownie and Dylan can share their affections and leave me to sniffing… Herman.
