Only 4 weeks to go…..
Mum is getting very excited as the Big Trip is now just over a month away. She has been busy sorting stuff, trying on clothes to see if they still fit (no comment….) and generally being very busy. She is under strict orders not to do any lifting, and we are making sure that she has a rest every afternoon. In fact, I think that we are doing quite a good job nursing her….. those Doxiepets have given us great advice!
Tomorrow she starts work again at her old school, but not in a teaching role…. too much ’stress’ the doctors have said…. so she is only supervising kids during their exams. Mind you…. she’s working almost solidly for 2 weeks, then its the Half-term break for a week, and then another two weeks of school. We are NOT looking forward to that…. after having our Mum at home for 3 years, it will be a shock to all of us, not having her here at our beck and call!
We hope that our Mum will get to meet as many of you as possible…. and your dachsies of course. It is just such a pity that we can’t come…..
We will certainly be there in ’soul’, if we can’t be there ‘in body’!!!

We are so happy that your mommy gets to come to our side of the pond. We hope she likes it here and that she brings you back an extra big supply of bobo’s since you dont get to come. Tell mommy to be very careful getting ready to go so she dont have a relaps. Keep up the good work on nursing her for a couple more weeks, I’m sure the doxie pets are proud of you for doing a good job. It just shows they are good teachers.

Oh we almost forgot to tell you. When she is in WI. remind her that is where the cheese comes from on this side of the pond. hint hint for Harry.

I bet your mom is excited!!! I hope the trip is fun,too bad you guys can’t come! But maybe mom will bring back some gifts just for you doxies!!!
