We finally got moved! YAY!!

So we finally got moved into our new house…..we love it!!!
The dogs have never had a yard to play in before and now they are super amazed that their mommy lets them out without a leash! Abbey,Tusox and Buford just run and flip and flop everywhere…..the only thing is they have to be sprayed real good for ticks before they go out,cause we have yet found a solution to that dang problem,but other then that it’s all good!!Maybe we’ll be rid the yard of ticks before much longer!I hope!

It sounds like everyone is enjoying the new digs!
I just got back from a weekend trip to my mom’s new house in Vermont which has a large fenced in back yard, and Baxter and her Yorkie had a blast in it!
They would check out the fence perimiter for the bunnies that can get in, though they never saw them, then they would run around chasing squirrels and each other until they were each dog tired!

We use an organic yard spray for ticks/fleas, I think it’s called SAFER or something like that. Wal-mart or Lowe’s carries it. Works pretty good.

Hi Kayla I am new to HDB and I am trying to get to know everyone. Congrats on your new home and new fenced in yard! I know how much stress moving can be but it sounds like you and your dogs are now settled and happy. We have bug people come and spray are yard it is safe for dogs and cats but keeps mice, fleas, tics, spiders, beetles, flies, mosquitos and other pests away. It is a small fee every other month and we think its very worth it. Plus we use Advantage on our dogs so they don’t get fleas and tics when they go out. If my mom even sees one flea she bathes all our dogs!

Wow a YARD !!! now that is so cool,I don’t know what I would do if “Pal” had to move someweare that didn’t have one.. (I know come and use yours..LOL.)
