The reason Paisley has been progressing is because I'm not nervous, I just keep on moving forward letting her know whose in charge:)) She will walk with skateboarders in the street, but she is happy about it, but each day gets a bit better:) Unless I'm totally unconscious of my body language, it's possible she is feeding off of me, but since I can get her to move past our driveway and the kids, I feel it's Paisley that needs the confidence. When all this happened with the kid trying to run her over with his skateboard, I couldn't even get her to go past the driveway with choking her to death, but now we just keep on walking. I pay attention to when I feel any hesitation from her, pop her up and keep moving. I think because I'm feeling more confident is the reason she is progressing. There was a time I will admit when I dreaded the driveway and kids outside, but I've learned I can't be that way. I feel she would still be stuck if I was projecting any fear or being nervous:)) She did great at the show, but I just want her mentally prepared, so she can go into the ring and hopefully win, but if she doesn't win it's certainly not the end of the world. Most importantly I want her to have fun in the ring. She loves her classes, tailing wagging, happy as can be, and this is what I want to see in the ring, this tells me she is happy:))) But I will pay attention to my body language as well, just keep in tune to what I'm projecting because I know it makes a world of difference to her. Whatever I'm feeling travels right down the lead:)) Bobbi

I think you're making a good decision. I have never been able to figure out why a lot of today's parents think that letting their kids be obnoxious brats is a good idea. I guess they'll learn some day when their little darlings can't hold a job because of the way they act.
