Excited, but sort of sad (sniff, sniff) too!
Just a little while ago, I took my two girls (Amy & Brandy) to the vet where they are going to stay for the next 10 days. I am flying to L.A. to attend some meetings and visit my sister. This is the first time either of my girls have been separated from me more than a few hours (never overnight) much less, for 10 days!! Brandy started howling as I was signing papers before walking out. I wish that I could make them understand that I am going to be away for just a few days and have not abandoned them! They love the vet and vet techs and the area where they will be staying is separated from any animals with something contagious. Even some of the vet techs bring their own dogs when they have to work. I will be sure to call and check up on them at least 2 or 3 times!

OMG Brandy and Amy will have the best of times on their vaca too. I myself have to admit when lil doggies come to stay at my office I have them on my lap helping with the bookwork, greeting peeps and sometimes
I let them kiss me and I kiss them back and do lots and lots of belly rubbins. When Doc does farm calls I let them sit in the “big” chair and snooze. I take all the promo toys and let them destuff them cuz they like to. I take the office phone outside while i play with them in the big yard and let them explore the club house. We have a grand time.
(I am always behind in my paper work, but oh well)
So relax and enjoy your vaca as i am sure Miss Brandy and Miss Amy will enjoy theirs.

I know what you mean! It is harder on us than it is on Duchess. I feel so bad when I leave, but she will be so excited when she see’s you.

I’m sure everything will be fine!!! brandy and Amy will have a grand time at the vet,especially if the vet techs treat them like ours do and give them treats and hugs and kisses!!! Enjoy your time away and be careful!!!Have fun!!

Brandy and Amy You are going to have so mush fun the 1st day will be a little lonley but it get’s better and I am preaty sure that the hooman’s thay are living you with are cool … so have a great time.. BUDDYTHEDOXIE

I just got back from California last night. This morning I picked up Brandy and Amy. They both looked great and were happy (of course) to see me. I was told that they howled for the first few DAYS!!!!! Yikes!
