Recovery status on Randolph
Randolphs first full day back at the old grind(the battery store) was tough. his meds kind of kicked his butt and he was completely sick all day. I called the vet and he said lay off the meds for the day and work them back in gradually. Early this evening while i was with a customer, he ate a few bites of rice and broth. The meds must have finally worn they way out but he is wise now to getting any pills in his mouth. Not even stuffed in nutthin. He is a smart weenie not pullin the pills over his eyes. I know he’s feeling a little chipper when he grabs his skinny squeaky fox and bites his head a few times. I rather him bite that than me. We went for a nice long walk late this evening(not too many doggies out harrassing the disabled) in his stroller after we did a little weepoo time. He loves the breeze blowing through his ears. I pray for the day when he can walk along the stroller and not in it. But for now its our time together. Thank you all for the prayers. Keep us in your hearts and prayers and keep your paws crossed. Love to all…Randolph and Shelley

Randolph is one strong weenie Shelley!
We continue to pray that he recovers more each day and will be able to walk along side you one day soon.
Try putting his pills in some low fat cream cheese.
This is how I get Baxter to take his spine and disc supplement every day.
They love the taste of cheese and it is cool and smooth going down.
Good luck sweetie, and you are being an amazing mom to Randolph.
Hugs,
Bette and Baxter

Hope he is doing better real soon. You are soooo lucky you can take him to work with you. We do like Bette suggested except we use the Strawberry Cream Cheese! I put it on a spoon and then stuff the pill into it and swipe the spoon off on his back teeth. Hopefully he will be so occupied trying to lick the cream cheese off his teeth and Voila! he will swallow the pill! Good Luck!

Thanks again to all of you. Today was so Monday, and when the pc crashed and order wenr awry and the boos/roomate get hot ubder the collar, It is a great feeling to know you are here for me as will also be for you. I felt Randolph best at out home away from, Lakeside coutry kennels in voorhees. The girls are like angels to each and every baby that boards there in voorhees,nj. Its great to because most of them remember when Pluto and Randolph used to come. And how Randolph entertained the gang with his big blue ball in the exercise pen. I need to get info why do docs use prednisone for post op surgical treatment. It makes my baby miserable. I tried giving it to him this evening and within one hour, down, lethargic, not drinking or eating. He did let beside him in his kennel and give him a deep tissue message and do the little bicycle rolls. he falls asleep to that. The girls at the boarding kennel are trying to help me find some donated wheels for Randolph. I hope he doesn’t have to but I understand it gives them there confidence back. My monies are all spent. Just making the trip up there cost over 100.00roundtrip. if someone has wheels to loan for randolph to feel what its like to run again. please contact me via 856-924-4471 or sweetgypsyrose@msn.com. I can’t afford a new pair but maybe someone out there who would like to donate there wheels until randolph is back on his feet wolud be a blessing.
Love and God Bless, Hugas and big sweet kisses from Randolph and Shelley
