Nah not really!!! She is determined to drive me nuts.
Duchess doesn’t jump off of our bed. She will sit there and whine until someone comes and gets her. Now that she can NOT jump because of her back, well low and behold she jumps off the bed. I can’t believe she done it. Now I am major worried about her. She seems ok, but now MS THANG is going to be in the kennel unless she is right beside me. She is not going to love mommy lol. She may really get on here and type some bad things about me. LOL

Sherry, I highly recommend pet stairs or a ramp for any bed or couch your doxies decide they want to get onto.
Never let them jump off.
This will make sure they get down safely and will help back issues from jumping.
Place one of their favorite treats on each step or on the ramp to train them to go up and down only using this method.
Baxter only uses his pet stairs to get on and off the bed and all the couches and high furniture in my house.

Dear Duchess, Mommy is just trying to take care of you so be good ok? Why not ask for a lift off the bed and maybe roll over for a belly scratch while Mommy is there? Two birds with one stone! We hope you feel better real soon.

Duchess, we know it’s hard to listen to mommy all the time but she is right! No jumping! You have to be very careful of your back so you will be around for mommy to spoil for a long time! Thank you for your concern for us and our mommy. We miss our brother Lucky opening the back door for us. Mom’s a little better today. We hope you feel better soon! Lots of Love!- Daisy and Lola

Duchess, I know you are feeling better, but PULEEZ, don’t try that again! You scared your mommy. You are a little rascal and I know you aren’t used to your disability yet, but come on girl, give your body a chance to heal. Next time ask Mommy to lift you off, okay?

We have pillows around the perimeter of our bed with an opening at the ramp. Mica and Izzy will not jump off the pillows but if the pillows aren’t there, they will jump off the bed.

Wow you are lucky…. The only time we get on the bed is when “pal” is there and yes he has a ramp for us…(But only at night)
But I still give him the look as to try and get up there..lol…. Buddy
