Hi I’m Baron, my Mom has never had a Dachshund before….she’s had lots of K-9s but none like me. So I’m a whole new learning experience for her and sometimes I think she’s not taking it to well. I might have some difficulty in training her, will try to keep you posted about how that goes. Right now I’m 3 months old and weigh 5 lbs. I’m reddish brown with some blond under fur and an over misting of black, with a black marking on my tail. I’ve heard that I’m a minature and will have long hair…..we’ll see! I’m having a wee small prob with Mom about the potty/pee training thing……for some reason I can’t understand she gets totally wigged out when I sample my poop! Hey it’s an acquired taste, which Mom prays daily that I will outgrow or that she receive devine assistance in the form of PATIENCE to train me so I’ll stop. But she gives me high marks for CUTE and laughs and laughs when I run around on my leash. We both love the outdoors maybe she’ll put me up a little fence so I can run with no leash….whoa that would be the best. Welcome to our group Baron. You and your mom will like it here. My sister Anna likes to eat poop, too, and she is all grown up. It must be an aqquired taste, but I haven’t aqquired it.
