I want to thank each and everyone of you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers for us during this time in our life. We are at such a loss over our beloved baby Duchess. The hurt is stronger than anything, but I am beginning to let her go a little at a time. I am so thankful to our Lord for the gift of a precious lil baby girl that he allowed us to have for almost five yrs. She was the most precious and loving baby. Again, thank you for your love and understanding.
I was thinking it was time for me to leave the HDB because I no longer have a hotdog, but so many have encouraged me to stay. I thank you for that. I would be lost with out my family here.

Again I am so sorry for your loss of sweet Duchess Sherry.
Having a Dachshund is not a requirement for being or staying a member of the HDB though it is what brought people to find this site.
It is the love of this wonderful little weiner breed that we all have in common and how they have made our lives better for having them in it, both past and present.
So, please don’t leave the HDB and hopefully one day when you feel you are ready, another wonderful doxie will come into your life.
