Remember Laura…YOU PM’d me TWICE before FIRST and I responded to your THEN accusations. What gives you the right to take over this site? Who deemed you the owner? This IS a public site and whomever wishes to participate, can. Just because you can edit, lock and remove things on here doesn’t give you the right who CAN be here.

I was just directed to the thread that started this whole thing. I have read it in complete form. How terrible you let this person get under your skin for a question he/she was trying to ask. I know nothing about dapples, nor do I care. They are not my choice of doxie color. I have been on and off this site for months viewing photos. I do not wish to participate in the forum, nor posts for that matter. I still have dear friends that come here and keep in touch.
Laura, did you not brag to another member you had editting powers on this site?
Besides, I thought you had to be a moderator to get IP’s from PC’s and servers?

I agree with you Tia about trying to keep things calm but I really think alot of problems that have developed on this site has been behind closed doors (pm’s). I think it is ok to hash it out on a open forum, just don’t get vulger with each other and play like adults.

I have to agree with Tia - please hash it out privately or just agree to disagree. I think we come to the site for fellowship and info, and the battles are hard to bear with all the other stress going on.

What is happening to the HDB???? Do we really want a site filled with hate and finger pointing? I have some wonderful, caring friends here that I care very much about, NONE of them would EVER wish anyones dog to die!!! Please be careful when pointing fingers, would you want to be the one pointed out and have to try to prove your innocence? I know how this sounds, but please treat others as you would like to be treated.
May every member and all their families (two feet and four feet) remain healthy, happy and balanced (to quote Ceaser).

Oh and BTW…Skank is terribly miss informed of my current ISP. 3 months ago I bundles with comcast. I have NOT posted on the blog in months so therefore you did NOT have my current ISP as of 2 or 3 days ago when that dappled thread surfaced. You NOW have my current ISP as of today with this current posting. I’m sure you’ll find that the one ISP who posted the original thread, days ago, and the one you ACCUSE do not match. You did not post the ” ISP PROOF” you supposedly have PRIOR to my posting today so we will never know your “proof” as being true. The thread came from “UPPER” New York state…..hmmmm…who lives there I wonder?!? When you DO get the truth, I bet I’d NEVER get an aoplogy huh?!? This site has chased off so many new members, it’s sad. Poor Scott, I see why he left now.

I am sorry, but I see the trouble coming from current members. I stopped posting here right after I joined, because of the nasty rude couple of members. Now I see one member “Laura” that I did have respect for fall into the same category. I can say at least she took her part of the blame. Their is still two people that are very active members that cause 95% of the problems. If the truth is known they started the thread just to start this mess and the wrong person is being blamed. Now I see why there is only a select few out of thousands of members that are active here. I belong to several sites and this is the only site that acts this way. It is time to grow up and act like an adult. You know who you are.

Suz, I will answer your question here in public. Yes, I did tell a member of this blog that I had LIMITED moderator access.
I most certainly did NOT brag about it. I was contacted by this member, who I thought was a friend, regarding their inability to log on to the blog. I offered to help thinking they were genuine in their desire to get back on the blog. I helped them and look where it has gotten me.
I will not name this person because I am absolutely stunned that they would have turned on me. I feel betrayed, used and like a prize fool. I no longer know who I can or should trust.
Please, as I stated several comments ago - END THIS CAMPAIGN OF HATE AGAINST ME.

Why are you making it a campain against you? The original thead started by doubledoxie or whoever it was, was not ment towards you. From what has been posted here so far you are the one who is on the campain trail to make sure a member stays away from here. I personally like and am friends with both parties involved here and don’t choose sides but I don’t think it in any way is a hateful campaign at all. It is just a problem that needs fixed and worked out. Maybe we need Brownie and Zuke to talk this one out, them two boys have very cool heads and are silky smooth with their words.

Conflicts, like fire, need energy to burn. Moral of the story - this needs to be dropped and forgotten.
Also remember, if you are not a part of the SOLUTION, then you are a part of the PROBLEM.
When people argue over Morals or Values, there usually is NOT GOING TO BE be an agreement other than to agree to disagree. Since ones values and morals are how they define WHO they are, any perceived attack on their values / morals will feel like a PERSONAL attack, whether you meant it that way or not.
Its time to call a truce, apologize and GROW UP!
(I had to get that last shot in because I feel so let down by this at a time when I could use some levity and support)

All I want is the truth from you and that is all I have EVER wanted was for you to be honest in your conversations, PM’s and emails….whether it be here on the HDB or other.
I agree My4Doxies, there is 2 that cause major problems here. That’s why the majority bailed.

You know what, the majority “bailed” because they were banned from this site for starting crap in private and in public. In short for trying to destroy and disrupt peoples private lives. Yes I said PRIVATE LIVES. There are a few people that have come back here to try and destroy the hot dog blog with lies and try and turn new members against older members. They would love nothing more than to see the HDB be non existint. What we need to do is fill in all of the new members on just what took place a few short months ago so that they will understand who the trouble makers are and who they are not.
And, if any of you want to know whether or not Laura has any mod tools, I think the person to ask would be Todd.
Laura is going through some very difficult times in her personal life. How cruel of you to kick her when she is already down.

Kicking is going on by both parties and they are both adults. The situation will work itself out hopefully but you don’t need to throw stuff like that in there. If Laura wants that info out there she will do it herself. BTW, how do you know she is down? I think she is a strong person and is doing good in life so it is pretty presumptuous of you to think she is doing poorly.

Tia thank-you for your kind words. I am going through a very rough patch personally but that is no excuse for my behavior. Everyone has something in their lives that is difficult for them it is just a matter of degrees.
I was “caught in a lie” as Suz has so clearly pointed out above. I won’t make excuses for it other than to say that I did it in a lame attempt to get her off my back. I suppose it is easy to be judgemental about another person’s lying when one hasn’t ever ever lied in their whole entire lives themselves.
I also appreciate TJ trying to diffuse the situation as well. Without dredging up another particularly difficult period in my life, suffice it to say that I have very good reason to term this as a “personal attack” against me.
I have also learned that the person I suspected of having betrayed me didn’t so perhaps there is someone else who did. I cannot be certain and so therefore won’t even venture a guess. I really don’t care etiher.

Boy am I lost. Although I don’t post a lot blogs, I often look at pictures at post comments. What in the world happened???? I want to know. I know in the past I’ve asked some questions about my dogs and sometimes I’d get a member leaving me a real stupid response that made me feel dumb for even asking. I do not know what’s going on but I will say that people should treat and talk to others in a way that they would want to be treated. With jobs, kids, wives, husbands, and dogs who has time for all this crap??????

Some new member asked a question about breeding dapples, from what I understand. This person was then jumped and pounced upon for the lack of knowing about dapples. It was then I was drug into this mess by a member of this site accusing me of being the posted of that thread under a different screen name. Again, Dianne has showed her true colors of accusing a member of something they didn’t do. You all join in in believeing it’s true she found “proof” of an ISP. If this were true, the she too has moderator powers to access ISP’s?? You can all keep assuming and live in a paranoid state if you wish. If I have something to say, I say it to whom it’s being addressed to, no need to hide here!
Just like I was being accused of sending an email to dear poor laura months ago about destroying the blog on her own….again, not me! Point your fingers at each other for destroying what the hot dog blog once was.

Here’s what I think (not that anyone cares)….(lol)……….the good thing about a computer is you can always walk away. If you don’t like what someone has said about you or is accusing you of, you can always say your peace and walk away from it. You don’t have to get caught up in the drama IF YOU REALLY DONT WANT TO. If someone sends you an email saying what someone has said tell that person you don’t care to hear it. I enjoy this site but the truth is I will probably never meet any of you. We live all over the country and a few live out of the country so why let what someone said piss you off so badly???

Ok I am just a 24 year old from very far away and many of you are more mature than me or at least should be! I have tried to ignore these postings since I have been on here but it is becoming increasingly hard.
We are all adults who love our dogs! When a post comes up that you don’t agree with how about trying to educate without being condescending and rude, or just ignore and walk away. If members from another site are trying to cause trouble it is very easy to just ignore them! If this had happened with the dappledoxie post none of this would be happening as well and many other posts including Scott’s.
I know this is not my place really, and I really don’t want to rub anyone the wrong way. I actually enjoy this site very much. It means a lot to know that if something ever happens to my baby I have people that understand the pain and people with advice who can help me. I love looking at people’s photo’s and trying to help out on the forum when I can. This is what the HDB should be all about. There is so much bad going on in the world and I’m sure in your own lives to make this another place with bad energy!
Everyone here seems really nice, maybe it’s time to just forget the animosity with the other group, ignore them if they try to cause trouble and just be pleasant to everyone on here (whether they are someone you have had a former altercation with or not)!
