I’m in BIG trouble…..
I am in BIG trouble…… but, as usual, I am completely innocent. I was caught red-pawed, chewing my Mum’s treasured olive tree. All I was doing was to ‘prune’ it to shape…. though I got a bit carried away. OK… it used to be 3 feet tall… and now it is about 2 feet shorter….. but I did leave a few leaves on it….. I blame Anton, of course, as he pulled it off the table on the patio; I can’t quite reach the table top. Once he had it down, I automatically went into ‘gardening mode’, and I just couldn’t help myself.
I was only trying to help….. How was I to know that it was her favourite baby tree? She shouldn’t have left it within Anton’s reach, should she?

ut oh… Doxie trouble is not a place to be. Remember to use that “I’m sorry” doxie look. It always works on mommy’s.

Oooh Otto you are in a fix. Blame Anton though as much as possible ’cause he’s so much bigger than you.
Lay low the next few days and do your best to NOT chomp on the greenery okay?
If that does’t work you can always swim across the pond and become a Doxhoont!

It’s always the young ones that get us in trouble!

Perhaps offer Mum an “olive branch” as a sign of peace. Tell her you you did it because a higher
Authority told you to do so.

Otto. Shall I send a big box for you to come over here? Just untill the smoke blows over. Sorry you are in trouble. Keep giving the look and let me know about the box.

Oh Otto, no no no no! Dachshunds garden by digging, not chewing. Anyway, why did you want to chew on the tree? Were there any olives on it?
Those I could understand, especially soaked in a little gin. Oh sorrym you boys are too young for that.
