Never posted a blog before but I thought it might work better than the forums. And it’ll be neat to have a sort of storyline for Brinkley! First I want to say thanks for all the picture comments! It’s hard to believe but he’s even cuter in person (in dog!?) He’s been wonderful so far! I clipped his nails the night he came home cause he kept getting them stuck in the carpet! He was great for it! He’s had two accidents since Wednesday. But at least I caught them both so hopefully he’ll figure out how bad it is to pee in the house! So far I’ve let him sleep with me at night. And I think he’d sleep all night and all day if I let him (which is fine with me!) He does love to play when he’s awake though, pretty good at fetching his little tennis balls! We’ll work more on getting used to being locked in the crate tomorrow since we’ll be home all day. He did take his first nap in it with the door closed tonight though-yay! And a lot of times he’ll take a couple pieces of food into the crate and eat them and then come back for more and so on, pretty cute. And he likes to put his toys in it. He also loves going to work with me. He’ll sleep most of the time I’m at my desk but always wakes up if I get up! Quite the little momma’s boy already. He already knows how to sit (ok, so it’s just because of the treat, I don’t think he actually knows it by command yet but it’s still sweet.) I’m sure I’ll get the hang of this blog stuff eventually but that’s it for now! Goodnight all!
