Oscar’s going to a pool party monday

Most of the public pools have closed now for the summer and every year there is a pool that opens up one day for a pool party for dogs before it closes. So monday afternoon since I have the day off Oscar and I are going to the pool party. Oscar loves water, and when we go to the park he loves to play in the ponds and he loves climbing in the kiddie wading pool my parents have for their german shepherd. This will be the first time he’s been in a regular pool so i’m hoping he likes it, I think its going to be fun so i cant wait. I’ll try to remember my camera. Here’s some old pics of him playing in water…see he’s a water dog lol…

What a great idea to have a day at the pool just for dogs!
We wish our local pool would do something like that.

Please don’t forget the camera. Wow, how nice a doggie pool party. Sipping iced chicken broth and eating frosty paws poolside.
