It took me all morning but I FINALLY got through to the Parkersburg Humane Society in Wood County, WV. They are very organized and have a menu option specifically for people inquiering about the dogs rescued from the mill. The man was very nice and said they have gotten TONS of volunteers, OVERWHELMING amounts of donations and help from national media organizations like CNN. Anyone wishing to contact the shelter may do so at 304-422-5541. It may take awhile as they are VERY busy answering calls. More information about the doxie rescue organization involved is listed in previous posts.
