Puppy Mill in West Virginia shut down
Tags:No tags
Hi everybody, a friend of mine sent me a link about a puppy mill that was shut down saturday in West Virginia. 1000 dachshunds were rescued. The article appeared in NewsandSentinel.com It was posted on August 24, 2008. I do not know how to transfer the link information, but it is worth the reading. Amen for the humane society.

The All American Dachshund Rescue group is helping out with the rescues. Here is a link to them and Humane Society video.
Hope it works…

Thanks for the link Ruth.
I passed it onto a co-worker who already has a Dachshund but is intersted in adopting a rescue.
Hopefully he can get one of these doxies.

This mill was just over an hour from us. I’ve contacted the dachsund rescue involved to offer help transporting the doxies to new homes. We are unable to foster or adopt due to our Abby’s medical conditions as we can’t risk her becoming over stressed or catching illness. I suggested they may want to post additional information on this site for anyone who may be able to help who are not able to foster/rescue.
