Update on Lady
I called them around a quarter to 2. They told me she was much better and that I could come pick her up. When i walked in I could hear her carrying on in the back. The tech had just put her in the cage and she was not happy. They said that she had been held almost the entire time she was there. So she got spoiled and did not like the idea of being put down, even for a minute. We got home and all The Corky’s Gang was happy to see her. We went out to go potty and she went and got a BIG drink and then started coughing when I called her she looked up at me and her eyes were almost swelled shut. She was having another reaction. I called the vet and I had to rush her back in. Her vitals were ok but they wanted to keep her until 7 pm tonight. So when i actually have her home to keep I will post again. This has been such a stressful day. Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. We really apreciate them!!

UGH Kendra! Thank goodness you were there to keep a close eye on her. Not to beat a dead horse but this is precisely WHY large-scale breeders can’t possibly take proper care of their stock and puppies. I wonder just how many end up not surviving an allergic reaction to shots?
We’ll keep all fingers and paws crossed that Lady pulls out of it. Prayers flowing heaven-ward too.
Love, Laura

Once again, I just saw this post. I am sorry I did not see it sooner. It is not uncommon for a puppy to have a reaction, be treated and react again.
Let us know how she is doing. I am thinking about you Kendra.
