Bad Breath

Hello,
Just rescued a little lady who has really bad breath. Teeth look fairly clean. She is four year’s old and seems healthy other than the bad breath. I gave her some dried sweet potato/hemp, which she loved and it seemed to help her breath abit. I figured the roughage would help with the calculas. Any ideas? Oh, we are giving her organic dried food with organic veggies added.

Has your vet checked her teeth yet?
If not, I would have that done as there may be some bad ones way in the back or her bad breath could be caused by something else as dogs released to shelters usually have not had good dental care from their owners.
