Beach bum
Gretel here.
Well, the Mama has it in her head that I should socialize with other dogs. Generally this tends to happen in the back room at some dog day care or other, and I manipulate her into sitting on the floor instead of on one of those metal folding chairs so I can hold court from her lap. I’m not really into it.
But today she put me in the car and when we got out again, it looked like this:
And all the other dogs were playing playing playing:
And I wasn’t sure about the big blue wet stuff at first — the Mama had to go into it so I could see it was okay — but then it started to be sort of fun. Sort of. And then once I was wet I got to SHAKESHAKESHAKE … and then roooolllllll … and then I was all sandy and salty and a mess, and that was GREAT.

And here I am at home, allowing the excess sand to filter out of my fur onto the Mama’s sheets:
I could get into this.

What a beautiful beach, and dogs can run free there!!
We are so glad you had a fun day at the beach Gretel and the one thing that always follows a day at the beach is…sand in your bed!

Wish I was somewhere warm enough to go to the beach! Momma has never taken us to the beach and I am not sure about all that wet stuff but it sure looks like you had fun!
