Off to Prison again…..

Our Mum is off to the Fatherland to see friends and relations, and we can’t go. So we are off to Prison again on Tuesday….. any chance of a rescue? I have suggested that my brothers try and tunnel us out this time….. can some of you help us escape once we are out? We will be trying to ’spring’ our friends Wogan, Wilson, Walker, Wesley and Blott, who live with Mum’s friend Sue, who is going with Mum, so there will be 9 of us all told. Bring lots of cheese please….. as we will all be suffering from cheese withdrawl symptoms!!!

Poor Harry!! Momma said if you didn’t live so far away that she wouldn’t mind “dog-sitting”. She even said she would kick Daddy out of bed and put you all in the big bed with her and us. We have lots of cheese AND lots of other goodies! Plus the older human pup, ALWAYS drops some crumbles from dinner. Oh well. Be very good and maybe you will get some goodies from your human’s trip.

The others inhabited adjacent cells, as did Jutta’s, who also resided nearby. The inmates alternated shifts, with one working and one on lookout. They would start work at 5:30 p.m. and continue till about 9:00 p.m., just prior to the lights-out count. Meanwhile Anton and Otto started fabricating the dummy heads, and even gave them the pet names of “Oink” and “Oscar.” The heads were crude but lifelike, and were constructed from a homemade cement-powder mixture that included such innocuous materials as soap and toilet paper. They were decorated with flesh-tone paint from prison art kits, and doxie hair from the barbershop/groomer.
