PLEASE HELP SAVE MY CLEFT PUPPY!!!

Hi all, the picture attached is my very cute dog, GIFT, we call him ngoti in our house. A very active, playful and sweet little fellow, who loves to go around the house and just be happy.

Despite of this wonderful characteristic, GIFT was born with a major cleft palate… His nose is fully damage so he sniffs the food that goes to the nose. He was born on the 5th day of May 2008. Our vet initially decided to use euthanasia on him, but I STRONGLY DISAGREE…

Though he has this problem, he was born really healthy, even heavier than the reast of the litter.

I fed him with a formula every two hours, because he can’t nurse to his mom.

His been undergoing a lot of tests this days because I opt to have his cleft operated by next month. He also can’t see much and his eyes involuntarily moves left to right.

If you want to know more you can email me : drivethru_021@yahoo.com, i can’t send you his pix and how he had grown physically well despite the illness.

For now, we really need a lot of careful steps to have his operation successful.

We also need some financial assistance if anyone could help.

I am appealing to you guys cause I know you have the heart for this. Thank you very much.

I am sorry to hear of this situation. HOwever our rules here on the blog state that we can not ask for donations. I saw his pic in the photo section. As a breeder I cannot say what I would do as I have not been in this situation. I will keep him in our pawyers. Good Luck!

I too am so sorry for your Gift’s birth defect.
I saw his picture and he looks sweet.

I pray that the surgery is able to be performed and that he can live a better life from it.
