Long, Long Time!

Hi everyone!
It has been a long, long time since my mom and i have been here, and i finally told her “ENUFF real life, stop letting everything get in the way of MY blog friends!” Well, She finally listened WOOF!
Mom has had a ruff year, but now things are finally calming down. My mom lost her grandmother about a month after her last post on here, and then a month later lost her favorite brother to a suicide. He overdosed on methadone, and it broke my moms heart. Mom hasn’t really cried a lot about it, but i know she will someday. And on that day i will do tricks and weird stuff till she laffs at me and she will start to heal. Until then, i am just here for her like she needs. She still emails him, even though i have told her that it isn’t healthy to do it. And she still thinks somewhere in her head that this is all just a stupid prank of his, and that he will call one day and let her in on the joke. But me and my dad are here for her until she heals, and we do all we can to listen when she is ready to talk a little about him.
We moved to a new place, and i have my own bedroom that i sometimes share with mom when she needs alone time. (yeah i have my own bed and tv and all that cuz im spoiled freaking rotten just as it should be!). My new town has THREE other DOXIES!!! They are going to be coming here soon (to THDB) cuz my dad told their parents all about how this place helped him and my mom when i was sick and almost died. I am thinking of telling mommy that we should start a Doxie Day At The Park here cuz i have never really played with any other Doxies before. I saw one once, but i just knew it was another boy like me and he knew i was a boy so we both had to be kept apart cuz we were growly at each other!
Moms disease is a little bad right now, but im here for her so its not as bad as it could be (she calls it Fibromyalgia, i call it the hurting). Mom has also had kidney stones eight times in the past two years and is really really tired of them. The doc put her on meds to fix it but the meds made her start fainting so they had to stop em. That scared me for a while when she would fall to the floor, but i made sure that when she came back i was licking her all over her face so that she didn’t get TOO upset about it.
As for me, (best for last) i am HEALTHY as can be and am rowdy as always. My mom thinks im nutters, but thats ok cuz i love her anyway! I missed all my friends on here (rusty, roo, chuck and the gang, and all the other angels that helped my mom stop crying when i was sick). I lost my girlfriend bunny rabbit Clarice, but mom fixed it and got me two kitties instead cuz i moped around for days when Clarice was MURDERED by a neighbor dog when she went to the breeders house to get pregnant. My new sisters names are Odessa (cuz daddy found her in the snow with one eye frostbitten so she had her own life trial) and my other sister is named Squeaker. (she squeaks like a toy when she tries to meow) Daddy also found her abandoned in the snow one night, and brought her home to mommy to care for. Mommy and I worry about squeaker more than Odessa, cuz Dessa is healthy and feisty despite her missing eye….but squeaker acts abused and never seems to have grown any since daddy brought her home. She is tiny tiny and that’s not normal. The vet said not to worry, but we do. She looks like a little ring-tailed leopard! She doesn’t like me much, but i try to be patient with her and show her how cats are supposed to worship doxies, but she has a listening problem. (all cats do).
Sorry about this being so long, but mom only lets me on here every few days or so, so i have to make it COUNT. Huge huge mad hugs and licks to all, and I MISSED YOU!!!

    Dear Hannibal,

We are so sorry about the tough year your mommy’s going thru. She is so luck to have you to take care of her. Our hearts go out to her for the loss of her brother. It must be hard on the whole family. But us doxies are very good psycologists and we know what our mommies need.
We especially understand about the pain thing for our mommy has that too. We wish we could scare it out of her body by barking and growling but it just doesn’t work. Our mommy is in so much pain all the time that we do not go out for walks like all the other furkids do but we understand and have each other to play with. It is more important that we are here for her and stay close when she needs us.She always tells us that “What would I do without you girls”
So we hope your mom has a better year as we do our mom and tell her we said hello.
