We are still here!
I know its been a long time since I wrote an update here, but you know how it is…… I have 3 brothers to control (now there is a job and a half in itself!), a website to patrol and various other projects to work on.
I, and the rest of the Gang, are all well; we al passed out annual check up when we had our vaccinations recently. For my age, I am perfect in every way, except that I need to have my teeth seen to; I will not let anyone use a toothbrush on my ‘pearly whites’!
My mum is finally moving the remainder of her ’stuff’ in so we are surrounded by boxes, and more seem to arrive daily. Mind you, we all try and help, especially Anton, who, because he is so big, can easily reach things that I can’t! This has kept us very busy, as you can imagine.
We are off to prison soon, as our Mum is crossing the pond again, this time for a short break in the Big Apple….. is she going to visit an orchard, I ask myself? Hopefully this means that our supply of chicken jerky will be replenished, as we have been on short rations for months and the packet is now empty; why they don’t sell it here, I can’t imagine…… maybe we Brit dachsies need to set up our own import company. Now there’s an idea…..
Its getting cold and wet here now….. don’t you chaps everywhere just hate this sort of weather? However, it allows us to have a few naps during the day, which can’t be bad, can it. I am still trying to solve the fridge door problem, though I think that I am beginning to crack it…… Otto has finally learned to gain height by standing with his front paws on Anton’s broad and ample back. If he can stand on it, and Hughie stands on Otto, then all I have to do is to jump on Hughie…… what do you think? Will the mountain of dachsies then be tall enough to reach the fridge door handle? I KNOW that is where the cheese lives…..
I must be off now for another nap….. all this typing takes it out of a chap.
Your pal from across the pond
(Prince) Harry
….. and best wishes from my brothers Hughie, Anton and Otto.

You will just love New York. Too bad you can’t make a side trip to Florida to see us. Are you going to see any Hotdogbloggers? Hope you all have a grand time in the Big Apple.
Love
Zoe, Emma, and Gracie
