Tyrone got neutered…..
well we got the baby fixed. He is recovering very nicely. Doesn’t even act like he had surgery last saturday crazy. So will the humping stop? Is he gonna settle down a bit? I don’t know but i’m hoping. I also hope he doesn’t mark anymore. Anybody else get there’s done and have you noticed a difference? Well other then the marking and chewing everything in site he is a good boy he is fully potty trained he also does a few tricks like sit, stay, shake and sometimes lay down all food motivated though. He does love the treats. The vet loves him says he is such a good boy. I am hoping to get him to walk better on leash he likes to drag me down the street. He may be small but he is strong. We are actually thinking about obedience school for him anyone try it, if so was it worth it.

I will say my laskie was only five months and he started hiking his leg and marking his brother so they happened to be able to get him in the next day to be neutered (he was younger than I was expecting to have it done but he was a big boy). Since then no more hiking or marking or anything. It was about 2 days of hiking, marking, and humping, and I could tell it was going to be bad if I didn’t have it done haha. And sure enough he is very well behaved now, no marking whatsoever. So hopefully that gives you hope! lol
I think obedience school is a great idea! It allows them to socialize and the learning extra manners is never a bad thing

It can take a while for the hormones to calm down, but it will happen!
My little boy started marking and I treated it as a potty training issue, a stern “No!” and outside with lots of praise when he went. He hasn’t marked for over six months now and he still hasn’t been neutered (I am planning on doing it when he turns two). So you can try this in the meantime which will help.
Regarding the Obedience school, do it!! The dogs have so much fun and it is great for socialising and learning new tricks.
Your little guy sounds like a smart boy
